Rakali
We’re in the WA wheat belt. It’s harvest time.
There’s An old Japanese art form that involves making sculptures out of rice straw. A joint art project between some Japanese and WA artists is doing it in York, WA, using wheat straw.
The sculptures are all over town and are left to break down naturally, then they make new ones next year. (It’s in Zen balance with the natural way of things....Blah, blah...).
This is me and the Sparrow and a Rakali (web footed Japanese water rat).
