A view from Bowentown

We are staying at Waihi Beach in our caravan for a few days or longer if the weather holds. This is a view of the entrance to the Tauranga upper harbour with Matakana Island in the background and a peek of Mount Maunganui in the distrance (extreme right). My husband tells me the island on the horizon is a good fishing spot. We won't be checking it out this trip.
