On the prairie

REPLACED THE PHOTO AS THE FIRST HAD A GREEN SKY!   THIS MIGHT LOOK BETTER ON OTHER DEVICES.

There are always barns and ponds along the highways we travel to and from Colorado.  I tried to get this barn on the drive out but I was on the wrong side of the road and too far away for a driveby shot.   But today, we went by it again and I was not driving so I got three shots before we sped by.  This is the best of the bunch.  I tried to get some blue in the sky and water as it was such a gray day but my brain is not working too well with editing!  This barn is still in Nebraska as once we got to Missouri I- was driving.
 
We are just east of St. Louis in Illinois for the night.     We did stop before it got dark as I was in charge of driving at the time and had a much earlier meal time.       We still have a long day of driving tomorrow and another sleep on the road before we  get close to where my son lives so we can pick up the dog on Wednesday and get home by early afternoon.   I definitely do not want to drive those winding mountain roads in the dark!   

It also looks like we will be driving into some fall color as the trees were looking more colorful as we traveled east!
