Smoke

Strange looking atmosphere over Stirling this evening. The mist flowing down the hill from the castle made it look like the wee city was burning. It wasn't.

It was nice to see a bit of light still in the sky as we headed home tonight. The daffy's will be up soon enough and we'll be back to T-shirts and shorts in no time.

Of course, there's a weather warning out for snow on Monday before all that.

But, that's Monday. Just now I'm sitting with a mellow glass of Merlot after a mostly painless first week's work of the New Year and looking forward to catching up with some neeburs tomorrow in the Big Smoke. That might not be as painless.
