Force of nature

There has been so much rain that the water table has risen, allowing water to get into the space beneath the pond liner, lifting it up, and emptying the water out of the pond.  We were shocked the first time this happened, but we're resigned to it now.  It would be more worrying if we had fish;  the frogs will come back.
