One Million Trees

4th November 2019:

This is a new area Mchinji, about 400 km from base where the task is to plant one million trees to begin.

We started this project last and we will plant as many as we can this season. We are increasing our work force daily and it will take us time to establish ourselves.

We will also plant a few thousand fruit trees which have been budded and grafted on our Climate Smart farm, in Lusangazi, Mzuzu

These are ready but we need to find the most appropriate time and workforce to achieve this.

Our agreement is to plant 200 hectares here with a varied range of indigenous, fruit, medicinal and commercial trees.
