Scapa Flow (Day 1642)

The morning woofer wander was horrible. A strong wind blew in sheets of thick drizzle.
The original plan for the day was to head to Burray and make a start on replacing three bathrooms. The plan changed on Saturday when I got a call asking me to plumb in a sink in a kitchen I first fixed a week or so ago. Another call came in on Sunday to deal with a leak and meaning the bathroom job was pushed a bit further back.
The kitchen sink job went pretty well and by lunchtime I was heading down to see Rick in Herston where a pipe had been disturbed by contractors doing loft insulation and was dripping. Once that was fixed, I changed the internals of a tap to stop an annoying drip.
It was fairly late in the day when I finally made it to the bathroom job where the customer wanted me to fit isolation valves on supplies to a bath and basin, so they could remove the bath and basin themselves.
I had a tentative arrangement to meet up with  my beautiful wife to go and look at a 4x4 truck, so I called it a day at the bathroom job and parked up with a view over Scapa Flow.
The 4x4 is pretty much exactly what we have been looking for as a vehicle for towing the horse box, and for me to ferry the dogs around in rather than having them.in the van. It seems that we now own a truck...
