On alert!

At last .... some sunshine!

Rain this morning ..... but thankfully it cleared up this afternoon ...... so we managed to get our walk!

There were still a few dark clouds looming .... so we decided to take a walk up the road to Pioneer & Beech Wood ..... not too far to come home if the rain started again. It didn't & we stayed dry!

We saw Jackdaw, Robin, Chaffinch, Long-tailed Tit, Great Tit & Blue Tit too ..... not bad for a short walk!

The Rose hips looked beautiful in the late afternoon sun .... so I just had to blip them. We also spotted this Hare in the field ...... had to crop it quite a bit as it was along way off ...... hope you like my choices :-)

It was still very wet & muddy everywhere ..... no surprise given all the rain we've had recently ...... the Extra is one of the waterlogged fields we passed on our walk ...... not good at all for the farmers! They really need some dry weather!
