AMAZING...

DAY...enjoyed by all.
I collected my niece whilst The Rev did some more kitchen DIY...then collected him on the way back for our trip to London. R is 12 but hasn’t been down for over 4 years so it was all quite new and exciting.
We risked the Shard View despite the over cast day as we were told there was a 10 mile view.
#R at halfway mark.
However by the time we got up there the clouds had arrived!!!! We couldn’t even see the river!!! So we stopped for a cuppa and cake and waited. It was fascinating watching London being revealed. R loved everything....the clouds, the cake, the view and was an absolute delight and there was lots of opportunity to pose!! :))))
#we treated here to a simulator ride...she got 4 rides for the price of 1 as they couldn’t get it to work perfectly.
#then we tubed it to The Ritz....where we weren’t getting a room at £750!!!!
#and onto Hamleys where; yes she was forced to pose with a Christmas elf!!!! She was truly wowed by everything.
# we then had to finish our trip with a black cab ride.
Then in the evening we hosted a dinner for the family....8 of us! Thank heavens for the slow cooker that did its job whilst we partied in London!!! R and I made a quick cheat plum pudding....mmmmmm
