Upgraded Rifles for our Members...

BMJnr and l have upgraded two prone rifles to bench test rifles. I stripped down both rifles and refurbished the stocks, l rubbed down the woodwork and got rid of the nasty varnish.
Then l stained the wood with dark walnut twice and then put 6 coats of walnut oil.
Looks great.
Then we cleaned, oiled and adjusted all the action and barrel, we refitted the actions back in to the stocks and then fitted the scopes and rings.
We sighted them in (zeroed) then shot two cards and l am pleased to say they shot well
