Anne's Daily Encounters

B&W in the Lowlands

Birds, ducks and commorands on the waters of Flevo Lake, close to my sister and BIL where I'd picked up my car.
The absense of color strikes me now, only the weeds in the bottom show it's a SOOC photo, that lack of color and the flatness of the land... I must get used to that again.

Yes, I got back into the Netherlands again in good order a few days ago and will add here backblips of my wonderful time on mainland Greece... I'd hired a car and drove 2600 kms in 12 days; met friends and relatives and locals as I passed by.
While I stayed in a friend's flat at the 3rd floor at intervals, I wasn't the only lodger there... there was a mouse! Not at all impressed by my pressence as the munging on the pomegranate continued for as long as I didn't come too close... Ofcourse I cleared the house from poohs and pees and that pomegranate and my munged lemons and the onion and found the holes eaten in the sofas and closed them with tape and the mousetrap was open with cheese... but the cheese eaten out and no mouse captured in. A sly mouse it was!
Today I received an email from my friend that he'd captured the mouse... after 2 weeks of our successive hunt!

Backblips will follow soon
