A wet group walk

Linda and Colin gamely went ahead with the group walk in the Ingram Valley, despite the heavy rain. Eight of us turned out. However we decided to bail out (!) and took a quicker route back than was the original plan. Still, 15000 steps so that was good. It was also good to catch up with everyone.

My raincoat proved not actually rainproof. Hopefully if I put it through a wash with the special stuff it’ll be fit for purpose again.

We are meeting at 6.30 for the group supper. I’ve been let off cooking on account of being not long back so just needed to buy olives and crisps for nibbles.
