Fluffies

3years 82days

Today was almost like a Saturday, but even more a relaxed start as we leave early on most Saturdays for ballet. Today however, we didnt. We had a leisurely start - Mummy more so than Katie, who got up at 5.30 but kindly allowed me to still snooze with her there reading, playing and being very good. I got up before very long and pottered round. She had a really long play in her bedroom with her toy friends, making up quite the world for them.

It was gymnastics this morning. For a brief spell, she pretended to be a shy, not-confident on apparatus, little girl. Before very long, normal Katie had returned.

After nastics, she went to nursery, where they said she soon got stuck in. When I picked her up from nursery, I took with me our new arrival - our BEAUTIFUL monkey mei tai wrap conversion. Its got the London skyline appliqued, as quite a special place to Katie and I, with Big Ben (which Katie loves) set to the time of her birth. Its so beautiful. And I'm convinced that as she worked, Helen weaved in some happies, because you pick it up and just feel.... warm. The other wrap in the background is our lovely kokadi stars that FINALLY came today after quite a wait. We love them. It may seem odd that with a 3year old new/new to us wraps and carriers are moving in, but we dont have a car and there are lots of winter days when she wants snuggly carries a lot more, or when its not fab for cycling, but fine to walk with her cuddled to me. And we love it.
