A cold and misty morning
We had a lovely walk to the hamlet of Marley this morning, a longer walk than we usually do. It was cold and quite misty with even a flurry of fine snow but the ground wasn't hard with frost.
This wall is at the bottom of the woods where we had our first of two sightings of dear. Quite a few but too obscured by trees for a photograph.
Beyond the mist is the hamlet of Marley and beyond that the Aire Valley trunk road busy with it's morning commuters.
There was a brief sighting of a sun rise but the sky did look very wintry. Wintry sunrise St Ives
Spent the afternoon visiting my cousin to get some leaflets on New Zealand as they visited twice when his father was still around living in Napier. Lovely to catch up and hear of their adventures over a decade ago.
Happy weekend everyone.
