Dreich

A rugby day of two halves. The rugby was disappointing. I had hoped England would do well but South Africa excelled.

The rain fell in phases throughout the day, on some occasions (usually when I was out) very heavily. At least we did not have the gales down south. Which meant that these droplets hung on this rose branch.

The afternoon was spent celebrating a friend’s daughter’s birthday and her recent engagement to her rugby playing boyfriend. Much more fun.
