Calming Serenity

Today was far too busy, with several events all conspiring by happenstance to occur on the same day. Birthday party tree planting / first day of Daisy's art club / guests over for dinner / bonfire night & fireworks / sleepover arrangement...  and on top of it all, it was very wet, raining most of the day -- but with a brief lull and a break in the clouds just when our friends' daughter was planting the tree for her 18th birthday. And, we were near this very welcome oasis of calm in the middle of our hectic day. All went well, though. 

Glad tomorrow is a quiet Sunday with nothing planned.
