Happy New Year!

Merry 2013 everybody! We had a family day out to Beningbrough Hall, all 8 of us went around the hall and the gardens. An interesting fact for you - as told by one of the guides in the hall, Edwardian ladies didn't wear knickers and used to 'go' in the fireplace or behind a screen in the diningroom. Presumably the fire wasn't lit at the time.

We had a brilliant day, a lovely roast dinner and a walk in the winter sunshine.
