Raindrops on ...

... Swiss cheese plants. Glad we went to the beach yesterday; the weather was pretty changeable today. We walked into town in the sunshine to shop, and just beat the rain as we arrived home. Later, it absolutely poured, before the sun came out again and I dashed into the garden to take photos of wet flowers.

So fond of our little house and its tangled garden. In the evening S lit the woodburner, not really because it was necessary, and while the chicken roasted we had cosy aperos with a bottle of local fizz. And my lovely boy is doing well too. He hasn't thrown up since we visited the vet and started him on the special diet, and this evening he enjoyed the roast chicken along with us.
