Beginning

Today brought my first real involvement with the campaign for the election next month. 

Along with a local councillor I spent a couple of hours speaking to voters. We had 4 other teams out in different parts of the town.

The results were encouraging. 

For anyone who is comfortable in their own little bubble, going out and engaging with people in the poorer areas is an eye opener. 

Apart from that, Junior put in a short appearance - used the shower and then went on his way. 

The rest of the day was taken up by the usual Saturday stuff. 

The Blip was the moment I paused to reflect on the 7th floor, before resuming my mission.
