Day Of Disappointments

First, the park run was cancelled due to the high winds and a waterlogged course - though, to be fair, I've had a chesty cough and cold the last couple of days so I didn't feel much like running.

Then, England lost the World Cup Final to South Africa - though, to be fair, the Springboks were by far the better team and executed their game plan perfectly, never allowing England to get get going.

Finally, this afternoon Yeovil conceded an equaliser in added time to draw their game against Boreham Wood - though, to be fair, having scored after 7 minutes and dominated the first 20 minutes, looking like winning comfortably, we allowed Boreham Wood back into the game and they were the better team in the second half, thoroughly deserving a draw. A shame as, once again, we'd have gone top of the table if we'd held on for a win. Still we didn't lose, moved up to second and have a game in hand on the leaders.

With Chris away for the weekend celebrating a friend's birthday, Tess kept me company on the terraces and enjoyed her first game of the season.
