Back to Fall...

...as only little bits of snow are left here and there. My brother texted me a picture of his yard this morning which is still full of snow--it looks like the middle of December--so we were lucky to get off so lightly. I took this on the way to meet my friend Debbie for our usual 3 hour breakfast. It's nice because the hostess always recognizes us & seats us at "our" booth, which is back in the corner as she knows we like to sit and talk. Had a good catch-up, then I headed home to make a fruit tart and a couple of sweet breads for the bridal shower tomorrow. This time it's for my nephews' fiance, and their wedding is January 4th. Lots to look forward to. Hope you're all having a good weekend. :))
