Carnage

We are away for the weekend with our families in the sea-side hamlet of Middleton-on-Sea near Bognor Regis in Sussex

The house is magnificent and was formerly an “Ideal Home of the Year” in 1939. Modernised throughout, it is has 7 bedrooms and everything one would want.
The sea is only about 150 metres away (seen in the far background)
However...the winds battering the South Coast of England have been incredibly strong, up to 70 mph, with driving rain. My photo shows the destruction caused to the outside our beautiful house. Several chairs blown onto the pool cover, one chair submerged in the hot tub, glass topped tables hovering on three legs about to flip over, several pot plants have lost their footing, and my car has three pine needles on it.
