Goose With Autumn Leaves

A gorgeous, windy, leaf-blowing autumn day.  There aren't many leaves on trees left to blow but they're all over the ground and are such fun to crunch through when you walk.  Sadly, this scenario brings out the leaf blowers which I detest.  I suppose I'm old fashioned but I want to know what happened to rakes.
