The toy box is away until the next young children visit.  Our own children’s old bedtime story books are back on the shelf and of no interest to the grandchildren now that the youngest is six. No longer do we have to tread carefully over Lego and Thomas Tank Engine and his friends as they travel along the extensive rail track which has snaked across the floor the last few days. The house is orderly again but too quiet as our niece and her boys drive over 400 miles home.
