So many Santas

Amazing Christmas displays at Dobbies Garden Centre in Stirling. Popped in on a wet overcast November 1st afternoon for free Garden Club coffee and Christmas displays brightened up the day even although it’s a bit early with such displays. In my youth ( more than 50 years ago) it was Woolworths for the best displays and then in the 1990s and early 2000s it was out of town DIY stores such as B&Q and Homebase. Now these DIY stores are like small market stalls with very inferior displays. Dobbies and other large garden centres win hands down when it comes to providing awe inspiring spectacles when it comes to calendar events. The number of different Santa’s for sale was unbelievable. PS extras show they also sell some beautiful plants too!!!
