Frozen
There is a river and a creek where we moved to yesterday for the hunter to continue the hunt. Of course, everything is frozen! But today it is up in the high 30's and the sun is very warm so melting is happening. It will refreeze over night so that makes the short drive in the morning to the hunting site a little scary. It is about 5 miles away.
Since the hunting man has no one to hunt with this year I will be the one to go with him because I don't want him in the middle of nowhere by himself and possibly out of phone range. So I got all my "stuff" together to take with me including the food and water we will need tomorrow.
And the camera. Ready for an adventure to happen. And it begins at o'dark thirty in the morning! Per the hunter, we need to be parked while it is still dark so we can start walking at daylight. Keep your fingers crossed for the elk to step out so he can shot it the first day!
