The best of a bad bunch!

Took some awful photos today - didn't feel very inspired and was also freaking myself out trying to learn about setting shutter and aperture speed and EV. I was using the camera on SMART mode previously and it was so easy! However my son pointed out how blown-out (is that the right phrase?!) my photo of the exciting garden chairs was, so I took some on different settings and then sorted them out on the computer. Still a boring photo, but taken correctly!

These chairs were bought in the spring last year with the intention that my husband and I would be able to drink our coffees out there etc., but the summer was so darned awful that we hardly used them! Also, due to the bad weather a lot of the colour came off them and they now look ancient! Oh well, they go with the tatty area that they stand on!!

I'll try and do better tomorrow!
