Broomey Croft

It was quite sunny when I set off to Kingsbury Water Park. It's a nice sheltered walk to the hides at Broomey Croft. Overall it was fairly quiet on the water.

But this bird attracted my attention. A member of the Heron family I'm fairly certain it's the Small Egret.. But I'm willing to be proved wrong !! It's quiet stance was not distracted by the Mallard preening itself at the waters edge.
