Celebrations

I was cycling home from work when I saw this firework on the verge and stopped to take a photo. I hope it wasn’t set off nearby as there were cows and horses in the fields around it and a “16 shot barrage” would be quite noisy, I imagine.

We rarely hear or see any fireworks around here, out in the countryside. Halloween, like Firework night, can also go by unnoticed. We did have pumpkin soup at work today, however, and spooky Empire Biscuits, so I knew what day it was :-)
