It's the savage little kicker on the road up to Cairnpapple, but having 'Cairn' as a title (?) Not for me.

I've worked out that I've basically either been away or at work for the month of October and, indeed, this is one of only three non-work, non-away days - that's a little out of the ordinary for sure. So thought I'd make the most of things today...

Headed west to The Bathgate Alps to stick up some new route stuff and segments on Strava, plus the last time I was there was in September last year so they were due a visit! Relentless ups and downs, harder than I remember it. Unless I'm just a bit out of form. Or maybe I need some sun. Hmmm, a fortnight today I'll be in Lanzarote with a very nice road bike on rental - that should do the trick.
