more beaching

We took the coastal path to Polkerris for stunning views, nicely ached legs, crab sandwiches in the pub and a stomp around in the wet sand. Isaac and Zeke have no need for warmth or cleanliness and could play on a windy beach endlessly. Meanwhile Eve spends a lot of time panicking that Isaac might perish as he repeatedly charges into the sea.

My appetite for the sandy hypothermic clean-up operation is limited.... but I can tolerate it for the sake of the joyful boys.

Gratefuls:

1. Nanny and Grandad tackling the coastal path with us;
2. The prospect of a night out with Antony (also thanks to N and G who will babysit);
3. The children having time to carve happy pumpkins with Daddy.
