Artist’s desk with winter themed cards

Annual blood test this morning to check that blood sugars remain outside the diabetic range and a long wait at the drop in surgery afterwards to see the doctor about a minor, unrelated matter. That wait enabled me to catch up with all my blips.

A lovely cool autumn day. All change from tomorrow I believe. Susan was in her studio when I got home from the doctors with her work scattered around her desk. It looks good on the white background.

We took Doreen to a garden centre near Tunbridge Wells for lunch and a look around. We have a two for one meal deal three times a year with Notcutts and rarely get over there to use the card. Fortunate with the journey there and back which made a pleasant change.

Not going out trick or treating tonight. Not keen on the commercialism or escalation of the event over and above our own Guy Fawkes night. Grumpy old man!
