Close Encounter
Wrapped around an ash this oak tree and it's paramour have stood for fifty or so years. Embracing, supporting and generally doing what trees do. In places their boughs completely encircle each other while in other places they have moulded to the other's shape.
You can imagine the conversation. In the style of Brief Encounter 1945.
"Must you go."
"Yes."
"But, we have only just met!"
"I must go, the 3.15 from Paddington is due in any moment."
"Damn the 3.15 from Paddington!!"
"But, but I'm the driver."
