Quite high above Porty and some considerable nautical miles further south en route to a Memorial Service for a distinguished former colleague in Oxford. Thick fog blankets southern Britain. The plane banks right into London and I suspect this is the last sight of the sun for today! How these planes land in virtually zero visibility is nothing short of miraculous!
