Weaving Wonder

Took the team to visit Mizette's weaving factory, absolutely fascinating. Women working on ancient looms to produce thick woolen rugs, incredible to watch them, hands and feet flying and all these patterns emerging... Can't believe I've not been before, must go again. And, one day, when I have a proper house, really want to get one for our floor, so warm, and I can choose the colours and the pattern and the size, perfect.

- Mizette, she is one of the most amazing women I have ever met. Today, found out she grew up in Pakistan when it partitioned from India, such tales she has
- and the 1878 José de Sousa winery nearby, who still make wine in clay amphorae, another exciting discovery. See their 114 huge, no-longer-made amphorae in the link
