Adventure awaits

Alarms set for 1.50am ready to hit the road by 2.30am. Zombied the whole way to the airport.

Sat and had a coffee as our minds wondered (probably) to different places. I’ve got many memories of this airport and all the to-ing and fro-ing with various members of the family there to say hello/goodbye. I’m sure SS was bracing herself for the long journey ahead. The thoughts of seeing precious family members so near, but yet still so far (30 or so hours far).

And the rest of the day passed in a cloud of tiredness. Too awake to sleep but to tired to be awake. Took myself off for a stomp to soak up some sunshine and hopefully tire myself out (didn’t work).

Early night beckons.
