BCAM - Day 28

Martin and I were off into town early for another appointment with the breast clinic at Queen Mary Hospital.

The doctors had the results of the MRI and PET scan and apparently the tumour is bigger than they had originally thought, therefore I am not a suitable candidate for the cryotherapy any more.

So they’ve scheduled the lumpectomy instead on Nov 5th, which is good. It’s got to come out. It took us some time to come to terms with this new reality, but it’s a good outcome as well.

They’ve asked me to come in on Friday for a full day of pre/post op training. Quite thorough they are.

Spotted these Diwali bowls/ornaments which I thought would make for a good blip. Diwali was yesterday.
