......Is surviving the heat well, flowering beautifully, sheltered by the surrounding trees.

(And for those who saw my "BUG" yesterday - no, so far, we haven't found the rather large brown (very venomous) snake which had ventured onto our neighbour's property, but, as I said - IF we do - I'll snap that for a change - we've had them here before....
