Christmas Lily

This is the last flower of our Christmas lilies. They are garish, brash, untidy flowers, and I have avoided photographing them up until now. They are also spectacular and strongly scented, just generally over-the-top. I think they contrast nicely with our usually quiet and uneventful Christmas/New Year.
