I had a funeral to attend on Monday afternoon, and I knew it would be dark by the time we finished (don't you just love GMT?) so it was a case of having the camera to hand as I ate my breakfast in the morning.

A few birds fluttering around the bird-feeders, but none staying around for too long - perhaps the cats (not mine!) sitting on the nearby wheelie bins had something to do with it - so I just had to settle for one settling on a nearby branch and looking nervously round to see if it was safe to make a move.
