A busy morning as we discovered the barn window was in danger of falling out. The wood work is rotten. Its not helped that the large bush in front of it had been tied to the window frame and this was pulling it out. The window was tied because the young man who painted our walls a few years back fell off his ladder and landed on the bush.. he was unharmed but the bush suffered and so M tied it to the window to help lift it up... talk about cause and effect!
The bush was huge.. a golden lonicera.. but it had to go. I'm now hoping I can find someone who will fix a new window without us having to wait months. 

After filling 5 large bags of twigs leaves and branches we still had time to go down the coast road to walk through the woods at the Manjushri Buddhist centre. It was such a sunny day we needed to take advantage of it.
The tide was in but there was an icy wind.. much nicer under the trees.

An earlier tea time walk with Fletch.. already getting dark at 5 PM..  but caught the glow as it turned to evening.
