Consulting the Oracle

I consulted The Magic 8-ball today.*

After carrying out the time-honoured ritual required for such a deed, it told me that yes, I'm going to go on a proper, honest -to-goodness holiday this year.

Granted, I have no money but you know what? You're dead a long time and I haven't had a holiday for three years.**

Far be it from me to resist my destiny!

The only trouble now is that there are far too many places on my 'to-do' list....where to go..... decisions, decisions.....

** By 'holiday', I mean 'a non-Christmas/birthday/special occasion-oriented etc holiday that doesn't entail staying with relatives at their houses in Queensland.' No offence to relatives and all that.
