Football

Another ball game….!  another ball.    Late afternoon for Oskar’s last game of the season for freshman football… He broke his thumb the first play of the first game in September and it’s just now healed so he could be quarterback in the last game.   We froze in the stands —should have worn long underwear- and it was 40 minutes late starting (brrr) as there were no officials til then and unfortunately H and I had to leave at the half for an annual condo meeting (that was 2 1/2 hours!!) but this shot is his dancing #11 self off the field after passing off to a player that ran for the TD.. they’re just setting up for the kick (which was good) while Oskar is never one to hold back joy!  (or whatever he is feeling!)  I didn’t crop it more as the trees were so gorgeous.   Extra,  a photo of a happy kid.   We loved hearing his fans ( a pack of girls!)  yelling from the stands to “put Oskar in! “. And “go Oskar”!

Too much going on today..;. also took the Volvo in to get fixed from the rear ending earlier this month..fingers crossed they don’t find anything more major.  Picked up the old Volvo so Nik doesn’t get to drive to school for a few days (his friends are going to miss their ride to lunch!!) , did a big grocery shop and hurried home for another meeting.    Whew.
