Day out in Nashville
Weather pretty horrid, windy and driving rain. We spent one time wandering around visiting various places including the Farmers Market. Piles of fresh veg, cheese, drinks and handcrafts.Oh and hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of pumpkins of all sizes, some so big you would need machanical help to move.
To get out of the weather we visited the Country Music Musium. Expensive and crowded but still interesting.
Then out to Broadway, the partystreet of Nashville. Bar after bar with live music blaring out onto the streets. We went into Nudies bar, live music band down stairs and a girl singer upstairs. We went up and listened to her, well pretended to because highlights of England verses the All Blacks was playing over the bar. Well done guys, great game.
The blip is taken from the Musiums Hall of Fame The Sons of the Pioneers were playing at the Grand Old Opre last night. Not the original members although Roy Rogers son is a member. The group celebrated 85 years a couple of weeks ago.
Now back and drying out
