Sunset Sky at 16:59?!?

Yes I know I knew the clocks had gone back today but it was still a shock at 16:59 when I looked out the window to this sunset sky.

The light faded fast and by 17:16 it was dusk and by 17:30 it was dark. I hate the short dark winter days so will have to make the most of whatever daylight I can.

Today was not my best effort to get outside as I binge watched The White Princess based on the novel by Philippa Gregory. I’m currently reading Elizabeth of York by Amy Licence so it is interesting to compare historical fact with fiction. The War of the Roses is such a fascinating period in history.
