RIVER WEAR

Taken from Kingsgate Bridge in Durham late afternoon. Just after this I noticed some bubbles and a ripple below the bridge and a female Goosander popped up (extra). Daughter#2, grandson and I had had a lovely afternoon in Durham, during which we went up the Cathedral tower at the request of the grandson, which may not have been the most sensible of ideas since his mum has been having spells of vertigo and his granny is averse to heights, but we couldn't miss out on the views so we went with him and got the best of the light (more extras). We deserved our cake when we got down.
