Popped up to visit the birthday gal and met up with my nephew and his lovely wifey and their fur baby Dexter.

Dexter serenaded his great gran with a howwwwlllll. Wow that wee doggie can yowl.

I baked a birthday cake for mam - It was one of those bake off moments. Short time
Scale between coming home from Work and Baking cake - I stuffed it in the fridge to try and cool It enough to get the icing on

While we were driving round I had to keep directing Si to push the chocolate buttons one way or the other to stop the top layer from sliding off the other.

Anyways we made it and ran to the kitchen and left it in the fridge to set a little more .

We drank a toast to the birthday gal with pink champagne ..... oh on a school night too!
