North York Moors Railway

As the start of Paul’s 60th Birthday celebrations, we travelled to Pickering and back from Whitby although the first part of the journey was by coach to Grosmont as the diesel had failed first thing ! 
I’m a big fan of steam railways as I used to work on the SVR when I was a student . 
We had a look round Beck Isle Museum at Pickering and also alighted at Goathland, a lovely station which featured in the Harry Potter movies .
