Water Wheel

This Water Wheel has been restored, but now runs on electricity. It was adapted in the mid 19th century to transition its purpose from a linen mill to a corn mill. It is one of the largest water wheels in Ireland. Today the attached building is a restaurant and gift shop. Lovely that it has survived in these times of uncertainty and disquiet.
