This is Gill on the South Downs Way just West of Beachy Head. You can just see the lighthouse in the background. We set off with a Met Office promise of a bright, sunny day. Well, the sun went in as we stepped out of the car, and that was pretty much that. Not cold and bright, just cold and dull. Stunning location though. Paths very recently trodden by intrepid Beachy Head marathon participants.
